Dr. Berg said that she's really pleased with the way Owen is growing. He weighs 17 pounds, 15.5 ounces and his height is 25.75 inches. I forget his head size, but he is in the 75th percentile for all three measurements. Owen hardly cried at all when he got his shots. He's such a big, strong boy. He even got silver band-aids to wear home.
I only had a list of 12 questions for the doc this time, and she answered all of them very thoroughly and politely, just like always. She told us to buy whatever baby food we have coupons for, so we started with Beach Nut rice cereal. From the photos, you can see that Owen likes it. It was hard to keep his fingers out of his mouth, which is why the cereal was smeared everywhere. In the second photo you can see some of the cereal in the lashes of his left eye. The good news is that Joel and I were smart enough to feed Owen right before bath time.
I know this photo looks out of place, but I can't figure out how to delete it from this post. It doesn't really matter, though. Look how cute he is! And check out the head control!
Wow he's getting so grown up!! He looks like he's doing great with solids. Go Owen Go!!
